It seems like global profit and loss management > lock trading for day feature only works if a position is flattened at the set time (or maximum loss has been reached). Is there any way to lock trading after a certain time every day whether or not the risk management rule has been met? Also, is there a way to incorporate commissions into maximum profit/loss? |

also, currently I am using the 'enable order allocation to trade account' feature with DOM but it seems like it only works for the dom. The orders I place on the chart directly does not get allocated to the designated accounts. Is there any way to fix this?

There is not a built in way to "lock" trading at a specific time. You can flatten your positions at a certain time, but not lock. You could create a custom study to do the locking at a certain time. Refer to the following: sc.SetTradingLockState() List of Third Party Sierra Chart Study and System Programmers Also, is there a way to incorporate commissions into maximum profit/loss?
Refer to the following regarding adding commissions to certain items: Trade Activity Log: Use Commission Chart Settings: Use Symbol Commission Setting in Trade List and Statistics Calculations (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu) I am using the 'enable order allocation to trade account' feature with DOM but it seems like it only works for the dom. The Order Allocation to Trade Account is setup per chart. You would need to set this up for both your Trading DOM and for your chart. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
