attached orders disappearing

hi i have an order with a buy stop and a buy limit open on the euro/usd mini's atm and i want to let the order run over night. in the past, on a number of occasions, i've come back to my charts in the morning to find the order is still live but the attached orders have disappeared. how do i stop this from happening please?

Make sure you are setting the Time in Force for the Attached Orders for the correct Trade Window: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Opening Trade Window for Chart or Trade DOM Each chart and trading DOM has its own window. Ok, so your advice worked and this morning everything was in place and I made a profit of around 8 points…. However… after flattening my position the profit disappeared from the trade window completely and both the p&l pane and dpl pane show zero profit. To double check, I enabled my positions to check my entry point and exit points on the chart and they are non existent too…. It’s As if the trade never existed. I don’t understand what’s going on? |

One other thing… does sierra charts record the actual profit and loss in $’s rather than positions so I can keep a track of my activity in dollars rather than just fills?

With regards to the P/L - the Daily P/L is just that - daily. Since the trade took place across the day, it is not showing in there. And the Open P/L will only show for the open trades. So what you are seeing is correct, but the trade did occur. You would have to look at the P/L for the trade in the Trade Activity Log.
