MD Trader with DTN backfill

When I use the symbol NQU4 in the Trade Symbol under chart settings, which is a MD Trader symbol for the NQ, I can get up to the tick ( i think ) data, only problem is my volume profile lines are very thin which makes me think I am not getting Tick data even thought the chart is set for Tick data and not 1 minute. But when I change the symbol to the DTN backfill symbol @NQ# and set the Trade and Current Quote symbol to NQU4 I cannot get up to the second data on the chart and it back fills to a previous date in the past.
I have the historical symbol setup for the DTN symbol and the most recent date for the backfill is 10 days prior to today 8/8/14. I have tried to find out how to setup my charts correctly according to DTN backfill with MD Trader but the search post in the forums doesn't allow for more than 2 or 3 search words and I am stuck. How can I make sure I get back-adjusted data and up to the tick data included in the charts? Am trying to see if Sierra Charts are going to work for me since I have 2 days left for trial. Thanks, Robby

We are not understanding the reference to MD trader. We are not sure of the relevancy of that.

Follow the instructions here for a tick by tick data configuration:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_TickbyTickDataConfiguration.php

Only use the symbols you find in File >> Find Symbol. These are the correct symbols for OEC.

On your existing Intraday charts, select Chart >> Chart Settings and set the Volume at Price Multiplier to 1. It must be 1.

Sorry for the confusion, I have OEC data with DTN back fill, so the symbols for OEC will conflict with DTN's back fill unless your software can accommodate for that. How should I set up a chart for OEC Real-time feed with DTN back fill since they may conflict ?
I followed the instructions you posted about setting up a chart to see if I get tick data. See screenshot . I have a 5 tick space between each Volume Profile bar and the setting for the chart is listed in a screenshot, and would like to see the profile represent all prices for a fluid profile. I see hash-tags for the prices coming in in real-time so I believe am getting Tick data and confirming with my other platforms. Am unsure what to do at this point, and thanks for your response so far.

This is what you need to do and what we said previously:

On your existing Intraday charts, select Chart >> Chart Settings and set the Volume at Price Multiplier to 1. It must be 1.
