http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1408453798590.png Hi I have been trying to figure out why my pYear value reset in October last year and then the pVal is way off. Any help would be much appreciated. I can post setting as well if its helpful. I came from a chart book that was working. Thank you Chris |

What study are you referring to? And specifically what is not correct? Why do you think it is not correct? And what are the settings of that study? And when you post an image of a chart, it must contain only that one study and no other studies. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. ECIVwapV1.2 is a user contributed study. We cannot help with it. See if the Sierra Chart provided Volume Weighted Average Price study meets your requirements: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_TechnicalStudiesReference.html#s108 Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thank you for your reply. I put the SC VWAP on my chart but I still get the VWAP resetting itself in the beginning of October. Everything is setup as default and I have never customized this indicator. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1408506577795.png Thank you. Chris |

Add the Volume study to the chart. And make sure the Base on Underlying Data input is set to No. After this post an image of the chart. The problem is not that it is resetting in October. The underlying data is changing. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point. There is a problem with the Volume data as you can see on the chart. One bar it is very high. Try re-downloading the data: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html#ReDownloading Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. It looks like there might be some bad data in providers database. Because a reload doesn't fix the problem. It looks like the volume bar in question was the 6th of October(which was a Sunday) and I can't look at the record in the editor this was the closest day I could access: http://screencast.com/t/bZICXHwJ Is there any other way to fix this issue? Cheers, Chris |

Enable Chart >> Show Rollover Dates and post an image again of the chart with the Volume study.

Sorry about it looks like in the Chart Settings it needed to be on the historical instead of intraday. Issue is resolved. Thank you for your help. Best regards, Chris |

We have checked the data and we do not see any volume error. There definitely is no data problem on the server. We suspect that you did not Re-download the data for all contracts. Once again here are the instructions for that: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html#ReDownloading Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
