Trading Keyboard Shortcuts Issue / Crashes System

I'm running version 2641.

I'm using simple take profit and stop loss brackets, and I have support scale in / scale out enabled.

When I initiate a trade from the trading window (BUY MKT), and then add a contract with a hotkey, Sierra Charts crashes / closes... but when I initiate the trade from a keyboard shortcut, everything works fine.

I've been using a combination of trading window commands and keyboard shortcuts from some time now and haven't noticed a problem until today.

Thanks!

We are fairly sure we would not be able to reproduce this. But we will try to. But it is very unlikely.

Usually problems like this are related to a stack overflow. We will do some analysis and see how we can reduce stack space.

Regarding this, as we expected we were not able to identify any problem. And it is really impossible for us to reproduce issues like this. We believe it is system specific.

In the next release we are going to make some changes to reduce stack space when orders are submitted. We hope that with help. We cannot say for sure.

After working on this issue, we do believe that it will be resolved in the next release. There is some more work we need to do, but we are reducing stack space when submitting an order and ensuring there is full error handling if there are any memory allocation errors.

What is interesting, is what we said in the prior post, was not actually the cause of the problem. However, those changes, made the problem more apparent and then allowed us to determine the actual cause.

Issue resolved. More information:
