Barchart data provider still used?

Hi,

I once used barchart data through sierra charts, do you still offer this?

I liked the volume bars for stocks that the data allowed me to see. For example, each bar was 10,000 shares traded.

If there is no more barchart, what is the alternative to get the volume bars?

I just ordered the data.

However, I can't seem to be able to download stock data?

When I go File - Find Symbol - Stocks ...there are no stocks there.

I also just try to go File - New Symbol - and type in a stock and nothing comes up..

I am connected to the data feed.

Confirm if you do not need real-time data.

In this case you do not need the Sierra Chart Real-time and Historical Exchange Data Feed.

All you need is the Sierra Chart Historical Data Service which is included with Service Package 3:

Let us know and we will change your Service Package to 3 and we will cancel the Sierra Chart real-time data feed for you.

I need tick data for stocks, I like using charts with volume bars...i.e. 1 bar = 10,000 shares

In this case you do not need to activate the US equities exchange.

You will still be able to get historical data. We need to add support for this. This will be out in version 1177 coming out later today.

As long as you have activated the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, and you have, and the Service in Sierra Chart is set to "SC Exchange Data" , you will be able to get historical tick by tick data for stocks with this new release.
