Hi, I currently have my intraday data storage set to 1-tick. I require this for the very recent history (say a week or 2) but after that it becomes irrelevant. Is it possible to switch SC to use 1-second resolution after a certain cut-off? I am only downloading 20 days of tick data but I notice that the loading of ES in particular (due to high volume) becomes slower and slower as time goes on, which implies the actual tick history goes back much further. Thanks, Steve |

You can compress older historical Intraday data records into higher time frames. Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for. I would like to request an enhancement though - would it be possible to make the process more automatic so users can reduce the size of old data on a scheduled basis - like the current support for large file sizes?

This eventually will come and will be replacing the current large Intraday data file splitting feature.
