Hi there, I want to open my orders independently. I mean for example i enter 1 mini CL with it's SL and TP and then enter another CL 1 mini with it's TP and SL and wan to close them one by one. Is that possible? I could not understand what scale in and what scale out mean? How can i learn how many types of orders i could enter? I read order types but could not understand. They confuses me. How can i learn them with what they mean? Thanks a lot and sorry for my basic question... Thank you. |

To begin with, you can not have separate positions within Sierra Chart. There is only a single Position line that shows the average position price for the orders that have been entered. Refer to the following: Trading Information Windows: How Average Price for Positions Is Calculated and Used But, you can have separate attached orders for each parent order. To do this, you do NOT use the option for Scale In. Scale in does the exact opposite of adding to the existing attached orders. Refer to the following: Attached Orders: Scaling In For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
