Hi, I set up the Telegram notifications for Sierra Chart Alerts this week and have it working for alerts that I set from the 'Alert Manager' however if I set an alert by right clicking an object on the chart and also select the same Alert number (i.e. Alert 1), it will alert on my PC but it doesnt send the alert via the Telegram notifications. I have tested alerts set directly in Alert Manager and they work fine however. Is there a difference on these alerts or is there something else I must do to sent the alerts to Telegram that I set via right-click on the chart object? |

We do not know know what you mean by "Right-Click". Are you right-clicking on a drawing and setting an alert for a drawing? If this is a Drawing Alert, then it should work like any other alert and get routed to Telegram, as long as that is setup properly. Do you have the correct Alert Number set for the Drawing Alert such that the Alert Number is setup to route to Telegram? Yes that is correct, right click on a drawing and setting an alert for a drawing. When I do this, and using 'Alert 1' which I have configured for Telegram it does not send a notification to Telegram. If I set the alert via the Alert manager using 'Alert 1', it will send the notification fine.

Do you see the alert listed in the Window >> Alert Manager >> Log tab? And is the alert message going to the specified Chat (File >> Open Chat Window)? Those are the first things to check.

I just tested it all again. The alerts to Telegram had worked in the past but I found the settings in General Settings --> Alert had lost the alert number and chat ID. Windows did do updates and restarted my computer, perhaps this didnt save in Sierra Chart and was lost when Windows rebooted, strange but it is all working now. Thank you.
