Draw up/down arrow based on alert condition

Hello,

Calculated values text above/below bars based on thresholds

In the above thread you have provided a study collection.

In this study collection I am adding one more study i.e. "Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar as Text".

What I want is the "value" as well as an "up/down arrow".

But when I change the sub graph draw style to arrow, the arrow goes to the zero level on the chart and is not drawn on the top/bottom of the bar.

The draw style "point on high/low" is the only one that draws a point on the top/bottom of the bar in my case, but am looking for an arrow.

Can you please guide.

You have to think about the values that are being displayed. With the Draw Styles that are not specific to the High or Low of the bar, the item is drawn at the value of the Subgraph. So if the value is 50, it will draw at a price of 50.

The way around this is to use the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" which is what is being done in the original post you reference. You would need another copy of the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" and set it up to draw the Arrow where you want it.
