Hi, i really love sc platform, it's wonderful. But since SEC approved bitcoin ETF trading, crypto is becoming an important and serious asset class, is it possible for sc to make a little bit effort to support the living trading on Binance? Or can sc provide any addition way to use sc to read streaming crypto data fast and let us run automated trading algo to trade on Binance?

We definitely will not support Binance trading. But we can support Coinbase. We have considered that.

Yes we can work Coinbase. We were going to make an announcement about that and see what interest there is.

Also, can you do something to reduce binance real-time data feed latency to like 200ms or ... so that we can use algo to read data from sc and trading crypto on binance ourselves.

No, we do not have control over latency to this small amount with a data feed that is not multicast, and originates in Asia and is blocked in the US.

The minimum trading unit for perpetual futures contracts on the binance is not the number of contracts but the notional value, this is really terrible.

Is it possible for sc to allow user directly connect to binance data feed (maybe using their own binance api) and display chart in sc? I mean, for example, i set AWS in Tokyo and run sc on that AWS instance, can u make sc directly receive tick data from binance data server in Tokyo? This way can reduce latency a lot.

At this point in time with all of the improvements we have made with Binance, doing what is described in post #8 we are certain is going to be overall worse. It is not something we would help with. And it is immensely complicated also.

How does sierra chart handle binance's volume after it's multiplied by 1 million?
especially when the data type for volume in the intraday data file is uint32?

The volume is just not accurate. Please do not rely on Binance volume from Sierra Chart. It simply is not accurate and may be more than a year or two away before accurate volume for crypto symbols that use floating-point values is supported.

We are not going to answer any questions about volume. It is just simply inaccurate and do not rely on it at all.

it seems we indeed need coinbase data, especially since the l3 orderbook data from this exchange is not free and accessible through public api

because of the numerous issues with binance data, perhaps keeping it is a complete waste of time, for example, I've observed that in binance's orderbook API data, even when the checksum id is correct, the best bid price is often greater than the best ask price, and after a certain interval, it can return to normal through update data, the api documentation doesn't provide any explanation for this, perhaps this is why sierrachart previously cancelled their support

however, if sierrachart to support coinbase data, it will inevitably need to deal with the decimal points in vol and oi data, although now support setting VolumeOpenInterestMultiplier, but I still cannot get the correct display on the dom, maybe not fully supported yet
