I edited the number using the following steps in Sierra Chart version 2634:

Go to Global Settings >> Symbol Settings >> Minimum Market By Order Quantity.
Select File >> Disconnect, then File >> Connect to Data Feed.
However, I am still seeing all the MBOs. When I exit and reopen Sierra Chart, the Minimum Market By Order Quantity value resets to 0.

Are you saying that the symbol setting is not being saved?

Yes, symbol setting is not being saved.
Is there a local file that I can directly edit instead of going through the GUI?

There is, but this is very odd that the symbol settings are not saving. To start, be sure you are following all the items at the following link:
Global Symbol Settings: Instructions

In terms of editing a file, refer to the following:

Hi,

Thank you for your assistance. I suspect that Windows (10) Security might be preventing SC from writing to the file. Could you recommend any specific settings for Windows Security that could help, particularly for the Zip installer?

Additionally, I've noticed that there are no entries in the trade activity logs. Any insights on this would also be appreciated.

Thanks!

It would be surprising if it is Windows 10 security, but it could be. You would have to create an exception for the symbol settings file, which is located in the folder named "SymbolSettings" under your main Sierra Chart installation folder. If you can, it would be best to create an exception for that entire folder so you do not need to worry about individual files. Otherwise, you would need to add any file that is in that folder as an exception to allow writing.

Also check your permissions for that folder, maybe it somehow got changed. Again, odd, but not impossible.

You should not have any issue with the Zip Installer, it is just copying files from a compressed file to your Sierra Chart installation folder. If you are having problems with this, then it may be that you have a general permissions issue. You may want to make sure that you are setup as an Admin when running the installer/zip installer.

With regards to the Trade Activity Log, there have been multiple changes recently. First, make sure you are on the current release to ensure you have all the recent changes. Follow these instructions to update:

Then refer to the information at the following links for some of the main differences in the way you use the Trade Activity Log:
