I am looking for a way to make the status bar as small as possible. Changing this value to anything less than 4 does NOT have any impact. Global -> General Settings -> Status Bar Width in Characters Status bar displays approximately 8 characters at setting 4. I have a handful of SC instances that are ultra light running in a very tiny window I just want to see the color indicator Green-Yellow-Red for monitoring the state of the connection. |

You are hitting the minimum size you can set it to. You can not go any smaller. The only other option would be to remove the status bar altogether.
