Why do Chart Drawing Properties>Anchors>Date/Time>A2 sometimes default to 150? When this occurs, the rectangle is extended to the right to infinity. Setting the Chart Drawing Properties>Anchors>Date/Time>A2 to proper values is ignored and 150 reappears as the default value. For example, I may which to draw a rectangle spanning 04/28/24 to 05/03/24 on an Intraday Chart. The A2 value defaults to 150. What is truly frustrating, this issue does not occur with every rectangle drawing attempt. Some work others do not.

There should never be an anchor with a date/time of 150. Is it shown as just "150"?

When you have this happen please get us that chart by following these instructions:

Yes, 150 is the default value of A2. Please see attached chart, an example can be found on Friday, 05/03 rectangle covering 5154.25 to 51512.25. Please check Rectangle Properties. Some other Rectangles are drawn properly.

There is an option to set drawings on the screen based on screen location. But this is only available when creating a drawing using a custom study. Refer to the following and the item below it:
Using Drawing Tools From an Advanced Custom Study: s_UseTool::BeginDateTime

Are any of these drawings being done through a custom study?

No, not using a Study at all. With a standard chart, I simply identify areas of Support/Demand, HVN/LVN or some other level to possibly initiate a trade. To highlight these areas, I manually draw a rectangle that may extend across different days. To extend, I open Chart Drawing Properties, enter a date at A2 and sometimes drawing accepts my A2 date and other times it defaults to 150, which then extends to infinity. Nothing I can do to limit the drawing date. Changing A2 from 150 to a normal date is fruitless, extremely frustrating.
