Is it an option to enter two fully independent bracket orders?

Currently when I enter two bracket orders, after they both execute but prior to them reaching their stop loss or profit taking prices, I am left with one executed order that adds their order quantities together and shows the order on the chart somewhere in between the prices I originally enterred them for. Sometimes I want this but other times I want the orders to be independent of each other and remain where I entered them. Is this possible?
