Can I add a button to the control bar to set a specific instrument?

I basically know, how to add and remove buttons. If I use the "Find Symbol" button, it will open a new chart.
My charts in the present chartbook are linked. So what I want, is a button (eg FGBL) That will change the symbol on my active chart (not open a new one) and subsequently changing it on the other open charts.

Best regards,

Andreas

There is not a built-in way to do this.

You could create a custom study to do this for you. Refer to the following:

Isn't this supported using a watchlist?
