Symbol: NQH4.CME

Numbers Bars Study
period 48R
tick size 0.25
volume at price multiplier = 1

Candle at April 10, 14:20:25 (EDT)
High of Bar = 181.25
Low of Bar = 18169.25
Total Volume of this Bar: 1253

If you get these values to match, then your period is exactly the same as mine.

The Numbers Bars chart highlights 18177.50 as Point of Control with volume of 21 x 38

Numbers Bars Calculated value says the Point of Control is 18178. The volume at 18178 is 5x26.

I have verified this variance with a friend on another computer, with independent studies.

Why is this the case and how do I access the correct Point of Control?

I worked around this using another study but would like to know why the value returned by Calculated values differs from what appears to be the correct value looking at each value at price.

Thanks.

You mean NQM4.CME, being that H4 is finished already.

POC in mumber bars and number bars calc values is identical for me 18177.50, see image.

You have something set different in your config? Value Format or Use Default Number Formatting for All Subgraphs?

THANK YOU! APOLOGIES TO THE GOOD PEOPLES AT SC.

Value format was set to 1 vs. Inherited or .01.

The way this surfaced is that I was calculating something of POC and getting different results. Does the displayed value format actually change the value used for calculations?

No, this only affects what is displayed, it does not change the underlying data.
