Hey, I'm currently attempting to install some S&P Index intraday data, however after restarting my computer the symbol dropdown for S&P Indexes as well as other indexes and all their included symbols have disappeared. I've checked, and I'm still within my monthly data downloads, so I'm not sure what exactly the issue would be. Thanks in advance.

We do not have real-time data for the S&P indices, and we have not for a long time. You can type in a particular symbol you want (such as $INX) and get the data up to the previous day (i.e. today (April 24) you would get data through April 23).

I was able to download data for symbols like $SAPE and &SEAN a few days ago, however now when I search for them now in Find Symbol they don't show up. Could this be an issue with displaying the indexes I'm interested in? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but they won't show up.

These have not been available in the Find Symbol window for some time now. Did you recently update, which could be why you are seeing a difference in what is showing on the Find Symbol page.

To clarify what I'm asking, how would I go about getting back the dropdown menu for S&P Indexes within the Find Symbol menu, as I can't seem to figure it out?

I only just installed the program a few days ago, and it was all there, I was able to download data for several S&P indices.

We do not know. What you are seeing now is correct. That is all we can say. Since we can not go back and look at what you were seeing the other day, there is no way for us to know what occurred.

There has been a recent change regarding this. Refer to: Reduced Listing of $ Barchart Index Symbols You can still access the chart data. The symbols are just not listed.
