Hi Sierra chart,

Checking if the volume by price function is able to be customized for different time frames, e.g. 3 days or e.g. 5 days? More specifically I would like to find the value area high and value area low lines for the chart.

This might already be an existing function but I cannot seem to enable it correctly.

More specifically I would like to find the value area high and value area low lines for the chart.

We are not sure exactly what you are wanting from this, but refer to the following study that you can use separate from the Volume by Price:
Volume Value Area Lines

Hello thanks for your response. To clarify I would like to implement it on a weekly (monday-friday), monthly 1st-30th/end month, quarterly basis. Which setting would I need to do that?

Thanks, I fixed that. For the color settings though, mine dont seem to work. The colors and settings which are "ignored" still show up even after i press apply. Have attached a pic to show what i mean - any fix for this?

That is not how you remove the colors for that particular item (the Bid and Ask coloring). Refer to the following Input for this:
