Hi, I have multiple historical and intraday charts linked by scroll position. For intraday charts, when I scroll on them, the other intraday charts scroll to the nearest bar close to the bar close of that chart which I scrolled on. This makes sense to me and is very useful. However, when I scroll on a historical daily chart, my intraday charts do not scroll to the time where the last displayed historical daily bar closed. Rather, the intraday charts scroll to 0:00 hours midnight on the day of that daily chart, before the information in which the daily bar contains had even occurred. Which is odd and makes it difficult/misleading to test certain ideas. To my understanding and reading the information on Sierra's website, historical daily bars open at regular trading session close (settlement price) and close at the next settlement price. Is there a way to anchor scroll linking to follow a more consistent logic, where when I scroll a daily chart back one day, my intraday charts will be scrolled to the last session close? |

There is no consideration to the internal session times of a historical daily data bar in this case. It is irrelevant. It would never be used. It is not even known.
