My trade management by study provides the correct target and stoploss about 60% of the time. I can't find any reason as to why it works correctly when it does and doesn't when it doesn't. I'm wondering if this is a common issue that is unavoidable, if you have any method for helping me troubleshoot, or if it is a common and random issue if it has anything to do with the "spreadsheet system for trading" study and would be avoided if I was using C++ for my automated system instead. Please assist

This is not a common issue. The Trade Management by Study is fairly straightforward. It just moves the Stop or Target to the level of another study at the interval defined in the study.

What is occurring when this is not working? Is it not moving the Stop/Target at all? Are they not moving to where you are expecting?
