If missing bib/ask volume, is it best to delete symbol .scid and reload?

I was missing a "chunk" of bid/ask diff. so I decided to: 1.) Recalculate, then..2.)Reload and recalculate...no help. Then 3.)Edit/Download Data by pointing to the beginning of missing data and clicking "Delete and download data from current position to End"....nothing. Then I got frustrated and deleted the whole .scid File and tried to open a new intraday chart. It is still missing all and more bid/ask volume from the present back in time.

Why can't I just start over "clean" by deleting the whole data file and opening a new chart? Thank you.

We see you are using Rithmic. Unless you use Rithmic through Optimus Futures, there is no historical Bid volume and Ask volume.
