Hi,

First of all, let me say again how glad I am that I switched to sierra chart back then in 2019.
To the newer customers:
There is no other, better software solution- trust me. Ive tried every single trading software on this planet.

Nevertheless, I have a few important points regarding the "TPO profile" study that I would like to address once again
Please take the time to do so without fobbing me off with one sentence.

Biggest key point:

1. Price increment:
Why does the price change if I use 1 TPO for 8 ticks? In comparison: If I leave it at 1 tick for 1 TPO, the POC is "correct" (I know how much you value the question "what is correct" and therefore say: Correct compared to other TPO/ options trader. )
Please take a look at the attached file.

2. a few suggestions for improvement that should make sense for any professional "market generated information" retailer:

2.1 Value area drawing style: transparent boxes, or rectangles.
2.2 VbP study profile before the TPO profile aligned to the left
2.3 alert integration for the VbP volume text treshold
2.4 auto opening tails, buying/selling tails until future intersection (in style of the recently added option "draw singles as rectangle")
2.5 missing another draw style for the "initial balance range", at least the thickness of the line

What do you think? Thank you very much for your attention, your time.

The main issue is that when you combine the "Letter/Block Increment" you are taking the volumes and prices from above/below a certain price level and adding them together. Therefore, the price values that are available to display the POC at are not the same.

For your example, 1 tick versus 8 ticks. Let's say we have the following prices:
18274.75
18274.50
18274.25
18274.00
18273.75
18273.50
18273.25
18273.00

The POC could be at any one of these prices, let's say 18273.25. But when you use a increment of 8, the values are combined together and displayed at one price, say 18274.00. So now the POC is going to be at 18247.00.

It's also possible for the POC to move to a completely different location when you use a combined increment. This would be due to how the volumes add up together in the range of the values. It's possible that there is some other location where the 8 ticks added together is greater than the sum of the 8 ticks where the POC is located when you use an increment of 1.

We take all suggestions, but we can not say when we would get to any particular item.
