Let's say I have a TD Ameritrade or Interactive Brokers account and hook SC up to it. Is there a way in SC to specify which exchange to route the order to? ARCA, BATS, EDGEX, etc? If there is not a way, is there a default route (maybe SMART in IB)?

In the case of IB you can definitely control the exchange. The exchange is part of the symbol specification. Refer to this page: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/IBSymbols.html#Stock For any stock symbol you can specify the exchange. Excellent, thank you. Can you think of a way to make it easy to change venues quickly without changing the chart symbol itself? Also, let's say I have a chart of "AAPL-STK-BATS" and place an order on "AAPL-STK-ARCA" -- will I see the order on the chart of "AAPL-STK-BATS"? |

You can use the Associated Watchlist to change the symbol of a chart quickly: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_SwitchingSymbols.html#AssociatedSymbolList Also, let's say I have a chart of "AAPL-STK-BATS" and place an order on "AAPL-STK-ARCA" -- will I see the order on the chart of "AAPL-STK-BATS"?
