You can setup Telegram to receive Alerts from your charts. So any place where an Alert can be setup, you can have that information forwarded to your Telegram account. With regards to Trading alerts, refer to the following and the 6 settings below it: Global Trade Settings Windows: Play Alert For New Order (Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> Notifications) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

No errors will show unless there is an alert associated with it. For instance, there is an alert that can be setup for when a trade is rejected. But any other kind of error (not that we can think of any off the top of our head) will not generate an alert.

So with the activity log you have to set up errors with it so if there was a problem it will automatically pop up and show that error? How do I set up the errors I want to show in the activity log window? |

You can not specify the errors that will be put into the log. And you can not specify an alert to go off when there is an error logged in the Message Log or Trade Service Log. What exactly are you worried about? What is the situation that you want to control? Just double checking how errors and messages will show up when trading. I just need a bit more understanding the difference between the message log window and trade service log window. thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-04-10 20:11:20

The "Trade Service Log" is going to show any issues/errors related to trading. In particular, order rejections will show in this log. The "Message Log" shows all other error messages related to the system and connectivity. So although you could think of them as trading related, messages regarding connections to your trading service would be in the "Message Log". The "Message Log" is accessed through "Window >> Message Log". The "Trade Service Log" is accessed through "Trade >> Trade Service Log" By default, both of these are set to open when there is an error written to them.
