Hello, I am completely new to Sierra Charts Software, I originally purchased a package 12 presuming that I needed to have this package in order to place practice trades to prepare myself for a funded challenge. I have recently discovered that package 12 is normally intended for fully funded accounts which I do not qualify for at this current time (I do not have all the information necessary to properly fill out all of the agreements). So, I decided to change from package 12 to a package 10. As I read through some information on your website, I discovered for users with the intention of only placing practice trades, I needed to register for the Delayed Data exchange feed. I followed the instructions. But am not finding the symbol I would like to practice with (Futures CME) available on the delayed format, it says that this symbol is currently unavailable. If there is a different symbol to use that is best for trading with futures in the delayed data feed format, please inform me. My other inquiry is, when I open My Sierra Charts it opens to an example chart book, I don't understand what this means? how do I begin to set my charts up to my preference and how can I change it to a real chart book instead of an example chart book. Please explain! Thank You for Help Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-04-04 16:23:37

First of all, the package you want will be one of the "Base" packages. These allow you access to the Delayed Streaming Data, but you can not connect to a trading or data service. Therefore, these are meant for when you are learning the system. Refer to the information on the packages at the following link: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Packages -- What is the exact symbol you are trying to open? What is your setting for "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Current Selected Service"? -- The "ExampleChartbook" is just a chartbook that we supply that has example charts in it. It is setup to automatically load on startup through the following setting: General Settings Window: Select Files to Open On Startup (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> Startup) If you want to create your own chartbook, start by selecting "File >> Find Symbol" and open a chart for the symbol you want. Then save the Chartbook that gets automatically created from this to whatever name you want. Refer to the following: Chartbooks (Workspaces) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-04-04 16:46:47
