Do you mean you want the chart bars based on the trading activity that equals a certain amount of trading volume? Or do you want to see a Volume by Price graph?: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_VolumeByPrice.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Dear Sir or Madam: Yes, how can I create the chart bars based only on the trading activity that equals a certain amount of trading volume? I have tried by: click "chart setting" then choose "bid ask volume bars", but the y axis still shows price instead of the amount of traded volume. Thanks, Van |

You need to set Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period Type to Volume Per Bar. This is documented here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ChartSettings.html#TimePeriodPerBar Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
