'Confirm Order' popup window, only when modifying a server-side bracket

Last trading session on 2024/03/18 did NOT show the following behavior.

Since then, both IBKR TWS and SC have been updated.
IBKR TWS has all API warnings disabled. Generally the setup is working and has been working in the past.
I already contacted IBKR support. They say, if the warnings are disabled it is not their problem.

I resumed trading yesterday, 2024/04/01. SC 2625.

I can place an order and cancel an order without any confirmation popup.

But when I adjust the active limit order (either the order itself or any of the two server-side bracket orders), then the attached popup window "Confirm Order" shows up.

Any ideas what the problem is here?

So you want to disable the confirmation for modifying an order? That can be done:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Menu >> Order Confirmations (chart specific)

"Confirm Order Modifications" was indeed checked in the menu.
I certainly did not set this by myself.

Could this have been set by the SC update?
I have witnessed other global or chart settings that were found reset to defaults after an update in the past.
This is a very bad trait of the software, especially since these changes may not easily be detected, but may have dire consequences.

Are you aware of this more general problem with SC updates?

We do not accept, that this was enabled during an update. That is fully impossible. But this is on by default for a new chart. Instead it would be most likely associated with Trade Window configurations where one configuration had it enabled.

New settings will be in a default state. Although this is not a new setting.

I had unchecked the "Confirm Order Modifications".

Just did a trade and the popup confirmation window still shows up on the modification!!

I looked at the setting of
Trade Window >> M >> Confirmation >> Confirm Order Modification
again: It is NOT checked/enabled!

Any ideas??

We tested this and we cannot reproduce this issue.

Therefore, the issue must be that you are changing the confirmation settings on the wrong Trade Window. For more information about this, refer to:

If the above is not the problem, then are you using Order Allocation to Trade Accounts functionality?

The Trade Window was indeed opened for a different chart than the separate Trading DOM, where I adjust the orders.

I also looked at
Chart Settings >> Linking >> Trade Window
and it is set to 'No'.

I cannot remember if I ever changed these settings. Opening the Trading DOM, Times&Sales, and Trade Window was one of my first actions in SierraChart - a long time ago. Never changed the related trading setup since then. The only thing I can say is that up until 2024/03/18 I did not have these problems with adjusting orders. And I certainly did not change any of these related settings since 03/18.

I have now closed the Trade Window I have been using all the time and I have now opened the Trade Window of the separate Trading DOM. Will check this setup tomorrow and let you know...

With the mentioned setup changes this is now working again.

It remains mysterious what the root cause of the problem was.
