Hello, Will i be able to import intraday chart data from a .csv file to SC ? They have provided me with a .csv file which contains single day intraday data for two tickers(NIFTY and BANKNIFTY futures in a single .CSV) to try it out but I am not sure how I should proceed. Also attached the .csv file here. Thanks |

Hello, I am using Globaldatafeeds with SC and I have multiple instances in the same but the historical data is not being downloaded in the sub instances. I have blank chart. I had to copy the files from main instance to sub instance to get the data. And so I am also not sure if it will receive live data. Yes. I also tried other tickers and had the same issue. I have a feeling that this probably is a limitation because of the way gdf is setup in SC. i.e they install a program in SC folder then i have to open the program hit login to receive the data. (The data is working fine in the main instance) I could be wrong. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-05-05 08:33:11

Just checked: Real time is being received in sub instance but historical data is not being received.

Any response here? Little annoying to have to copy the data file every day to sub instances.

Also, one more thing: The data which flows in real-time is different than the data which is being historically downloaded. Uploading the screenshot for the comparison. It is hard for us to see the difference between the screenshots. If there is a difference, then it is something that they would need to resolve. We know we looked into this with them about two years ago and the issue was resolved back then. To resolve the problem with historical data in a sub instance update to the latest prerelease. It is hard for us to see the difference between the screenshots.
You mean how ? If you just look at the AskVol Bid Vol difference above/below the bars, they are different. The max min in calculated values are also different. The OHLC is also different (which cannot be seen in the screenshots) Also they state on their website in their product description that : Be an informed trader – have complete information regarding the trades. The data contains Open, High, Low, Close, Volume, Open Interest, Bid*, Bid Size*, Ask*, Ask Size*, Trade Size*, Change and % Change for all symbols. Just enable Realtime Quotes Window in AmiBroker to have view just like market watch of your broker’s application.
* – Stateless fields – only last value is available. I asked them what does stateless field mean. They again gave me some vague answer. Now I am even thinking if the Bidvol and askvol data is even accurate. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-05-09 04:42:47
