color bar on alert condition supports Ref Study for output values when the alert condition is true

There are several Draw Style configs which can plot the numerical value of the Ref Study at the moment when the alert condition is true

However all of them plot the value not in the vicinity of the respective bar but at the absolute Y value on the chart which corresponds to the value of the Ref Study . This btw also limits the values of the Ref Study to be as the price (ie the Y value) rather than ANY values

The question is how COlor Bar on Alert Condition can be configured to simply plot ANY value of any Ref Study simply in the vicinity of the current bar (and hence not using theat value to plot it on the Y axis of teh chart )

example -the price (Y) of teh current bar is 5000, the alert condition goes true, the Ref Study produces "3" and then the value 3 is ploted in the viccinity proximity of the current bar which triggered the alert condition. This is supported for graphical elements like dots, triangles etc but i couldnt make it to plot the current value of teh Ref Study next to trhe respective bar

Use a Draw Style of "Value on High" or "Value on Low". Refer to the following:
Chart Studies: Value on High (ACSIL: DRAWSTYLE_VALUE_ON_HIGH)

great, thats what i needed, thanks!

one observation - it doesnt seem to apply the offset config of the Color Bar on Alert Condition ie always displays the value at a fixed offset from high/low - anyway to change that ie plot it a configurable number of ticks away?

That is correct. Since you are specifying the High/Low of the bar the offset does not apply. The offset changes the actual value of the subgraph itself.

There is a workaround if you are interested. Start by hiding the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" study. Then add the "Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar as Text" study to the chart and have it reference the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" and the "Color Bar" subgraph. You can then set an offset for the displayed value in this study. Refer to the following:
Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar as Text
