I have had issues recently with trades I place and then shut down my computer. I place limit orders using the simple bracket format before I shutdown. When the order is filled, both my take profit and stop loss are canceled, taking my trade to my brokers (topstep) daily loss limit, flattening the trade for me. Is there a setting or something to change for my stop loss and take profit to work as they should. When I shut down i see that it says something along the lines of "client side trades will no longer be managed," however, I am not using a trailing stop loss or anything like that. For take profit i use "target: limit" and for stop loss i use "stop: stop." Thank you in advanced.

Check the following setting and the one below it on your system and make sure they are both set to "Yes": Global Trade Settings Windows: Use Server Side OCO Orders (if supported) (Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> General) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Yes, I have both settings enabled and the problem still persists. Does it have to do with the "time in force", or any other setting?

When using Rithmic, if the parent order has not filled, the target and stop orders are held client side. You cannot shut down your computer. Do not do that. Sierra Chart must be running. This is not the case with Teton order routing or the Sierra Chart Trade Simulation service. Those orders are held on the server even if the parent has not filled yet.
