Question about undocumented input field in study Add Additional Symbol

I added the study "Add Additional Symbol" to my chart and was wondering: what exactly does the input field "Do Not Update Last Bar with latest Price from Data Feed" do? (possible values are "yes" and "no") Unless I somehow missed it, it's the only field of this study that is not documented in the official study documentation (Add Additional Symbol) |
