How do I draw fixed angled lines with the new properties window?

In attempting to draw a 45 degree angle line with the Line Use Fixed Angle set to Yes, changed Line Fixed Angle from 0 to 45 (confirmed the numeric value by clicking A), confirmed again with Apply All + OK, the line defaults back to zero (becomes a fixed horizontal line). I tried different sequences with the same result. What am I missing? I was drawing lines of various angles with the former properties window without issue. Thanks.

We know what the problem is. What is the symbol of the chart?

I went through the documentation you suggested. Thank you for that. I gather you mean the "Value Increment Per Bar in Ticks" as I cannot find a setting for only Value Increment Per Bar. There is a definition for it in the documentation but it's use is purely informational. No matter what value I set for "Value Increment Per Bar in Ticks", I still get the behaviour outlined in my original post. Quick question about "For Point and Figure Charts, the general rule is you should use a Value Increment per Bar which would be equivalent to the Box Size setting" (second last sentence): If my tick size is 0.25, and my P&F box size is 20... Does this mean the "Value Increment Per Bar in Ticks" should be 80 in order to get the Value Increment per bar that is equal to the box size or should the "Value Increment Per Bar in Ticks" just be equal to the box size? I tried both ways and the latter seems more correct. |

Yes this is correct: "Value Increment Per Bar in Ticks"
For some reason when we tested this we could set the angle degrees on the Chart Drawing Properties. Now we cannot. We are working on resolving the issue. This will all be resolved in version 2622. And the angle will always be properly calculated at every draw of the line.

I am running version 2677. But the fixed angle for line drawing still does not work as specified. |

We do see that the option for defining the line angle in the configuration/properties is not working in the current releases. We will check into this.

We do not see any problems with, Line Fixed Angle property for the Line properties. It works correctly. But you have to enable "Use Line Fixed Angle".
