I have not used Sierra for perhaps 2 years.
Signed up again and have denali stock composite.
did an update.
Set up charts and chartbooks and saved all .
Clicked file / new instance
closed program and reopened.

There are chart books in both the 1st instance data folder and the 2nd instance data folder but there are no chartbooks listed when I "open Chartbook"

If I click File ; under "Print" there is a list of the last 14 CHt. files
When I click one it does open the chartbook.

How do I get the existing charbooks to list in the "open Chartbook" window

However if I use Open Cbook there are no files listed and if I type in the name of a chartbook , eg Amd which is a collection of 8 charts I get the single chart for AMD

I saved a Chartbook "test" and when I type test into the box I get "Download failed" as it tried to open a daily chart called test

The CHT files are in the data folder ; how do I get the files into the "open Chartbook" list?

I think the charts have to be in a chart book before you open the saved chartbook that opens on startup
Try
GLOBAL SETTINGS > GENERAL SETTINGS > OPEN FILES ON STARTUP
Select the CHARTBOOKS to Open on start up

Add go the folder where your chart books are
Multiple Selection , Select them
Open Button
Then arrange them

THEN HIT THE OK BUTTON TO SAVE THE CHANGES

You will have do this for each instance.
