Hi,
I am trying to configure this setting, I have ticked 'Lock After Positions Flattened' - and entered a number of minutes for it to be locked by.
However the platform still allows me to trade.
I am on the latest version of SC, have tested this on SIM both real time and replay modes and get the same issue.

I don't believe there is anything else that needs configuring in the Global P/L settings but perhaps I have misunderstood.

Thank you.

Which of the options on the Global Profit/Loss Management page do you have setup (Daily Net Profit Management, Daily Net Loss Management, or the Flatten Positions at Set Time)? And did one of these get hit to flatten your positions?

Refer to the following:
Global Profit/Loss Management: Lock Trading >> Lock After Positions Flattened

Hi John,
Thanks for the reply.
I think I’ve misunderstood then - I was hoping it would lock trading after any trade - but the setting to lock after position close is just what happens when one of the other settings is triggered.

Would there be a way of after a losing trade, triggering this - but still being able to trade normally after the reset time?

Thank you.

You would have to setup the "Daily Net Loss Management" to flatten your position when you have lost a certain amount and have the "Lock after Flatten" set to lock you out.

There is no other method built into the system to do exactly what you want for just a losing trade.

Thanks for the reply John.

I’ve tested that out in replay and get the same issue that it doesn’t lock the platform - if when in replay I check the status it is still waiting for a trigger - however once stopping replay it then comes up to say the loss has been met.

I will test it on sim next week.

Would be great if there was a way to achieve a time delay after taking a loss, maybe something for further releases if possible?

Thanks again.
