I have a friend from South Africa who wants to trade futures. 2 things: 1) Is there a futures broker who accepts clints from South Africa? 2) Can Sierra Chart be used for live data analysis only without have an actual live broker? Thanks for your time. |

1) We do not know of any brokers ourselves, but we do not keep a list for all countries. We have support for Interactive Brokers, and any broker that uses CQG, Rithmic, or Teton for their order routing. So if they can find a broker that supports one of these options then they should be able to use Sierra Chart with them. 2) You can use Sierra Chart for charting and not order placement. The only issue with this is getting data for the CME Group. If they are wanting to trade the CME Group, then they have to have a live, funded, futures trading account in order to meet the non-professional requirements. And they need to be able to connect their Sierra Chart software to that account at least once a month for verification. Refer to the following: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
