Bug report. Not sure where else to post this. Upgraded to 2611. Main cause found for below: Going to "Edit Chat Group Settings" shows me that the "Relay to Telegram" toggle keeps setting itself to "No", even after changing it to "Yes", hitting "Apply All" and then "OK" to close the window. -When creating a new group the group does not show up until I close and then re-open the chat window. -When sending messages (that I type) in the group they will not show up until I close and then re-open the chat window. -Messages sent sometimes double-post. -Messages are not getting relayed to Telegram, even though I followed the instructions here: Notice: Sierra Chart Alert App and Telegram Replacing Email/SMS Alerts -I am unable to delete certain group chats via the "Delete Chat" Command, while others are deleted just fine. The only thing I can think of that's different is there's a ":" in the name of this group chat. Stop loss, take profit targets, and all other alerts successfully show up in the chat window but will not be relayed to Telegram. I have tried multiple times and I have done everything right as far as I can tell, based on the instructions given in the above link. Chat ID, relay to telegram toggle, and everything else is correct. The only telegram chat I have is with the Sierra Chart telegram chat bot that you have to interact with to /detach and /attach the process, but no other messages are there. We apologize. We are looking these over. We are aware of this issue. It was not an issue before the release. We have released version 2614 which now allows enabling of Relay to Telegram for a group chat. We want you to delete this folder: ChatDataHistory in the Sierra Chart installation folder when the Sierra Chart chat window is closed. Excellent! Working as intended. Thank you very much. One last thing: I am still unable to delete the group named: "Alerts: Stop Loss, Take Profit, Crossing Price Level". I found the source of the problem. If you add a colon to any group name you cannot send messages or delete the group. I have added more groups to test it and now have about 7 groups I cannot delete. Example: Create groups "abcd:", ":abcd", etc. Cannot delete. Create groups "abcde", "aaaaa". Can delete. Adding a colon gives immortality to the group. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-03-12 21:51:12

We will get this problem resolved. So the groups can be deleted. The : is the issue. We have to make sure to filter that out. Try deleting the group chats that you previously created but could not delete. You should now be able to delete them. Let us know if there any issues. Deletion works. All groups are gone. Thank you for your help and fast response. Additionally, the telegram/chat feature is excellent and is far better than email/SMS. These alerts are reliable and of high quality. Thank you for that as well.
