I setup a separate chart with specific start & end times( 4AM-9:29:59) and plot the High & Low of the session, using Daily OHLC study. I'm trying to copy these chart drawings to other charts, irrespective of the symbol, but am not finding a way to make this session time independent of the symbol. How do I have the Chart Settings --> Session Times persistently defined on this chart, even when switching symbols...and have these Premarket High/Low lines copied to other Intraday charts(where session times can switch from either Intraday timings(9:30AM-4pm) or Evening Session(4pm-9:30am). I tried marking these lines on my main charts directly, using the Daily OHLC study, but given I switch between Intra-day times for the Volume Profiles and Evening session, thought it'd be better to setup a different chart just covering the daily premarket(4am-9:30am for US equities) Thanks |

Ok, answering my own question, I was able to make the Chart Session times stick, when switching symbols, using these two steps outlined in documentation: If you do not want to use the Session Times as defined in the Symbol Settings when changing the symbol, then follow the below instructions: Make sure Global Settings >> Symbol Settings >> Apply Intraday Session Times to Intraday Chart is unchecked. Make sure Chart >> Chart Settings >> Session Times >> Apply Intraday Session Times to Intraday Chart is unchecked. but the Premarket High/Low lines I have marked on this chart using the daily OHLC study, is still not getting copied to other linked charts. I do have the Copy Chart Drawings From Chart #'s set appropriately to include this chart. Ideas? |

The option for Copying Chart Drawings is just for drawings (items that are put on the chart from the "Tools" menu). The "Daily OHLC" is a study, and the line information is stored as a Subgraph. As such, you need to use the "Study/Price Overlay" to get the lines from the Source chart to the Destination chart. Refer to the following: Study/Price Overlay Study In this case, if you want the lines to display all the way across the full times of the destination chart, then make sure the Input for "Fill Blanks with Last Value" is set to "Yes". For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I see, thanks, it worked with the Study/Price Overlay.
