I trade livestock futures (Live Cattle, Feeder Cattle and Lean Hogs) and SC does not (ever?) post settlements until the next open. I need those data and have been obtaining them at CME post close; here> https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/agriculture/livestock/lean-hogs.settlements.html< since SC doesn't have them until next morning. As shown on that webpage, this option for settlement data will not be available after 1 April. This data should be available in SC charting but is not; my data package is real time. How can this be remedied? CME has preliminary data usually within an hour of the close. Help please? |

You can see the settlement prices in the Quote Board: Getting Quotes: Quote Board You need to look at the Settlement Price field. As soon as it is received, from the market data feed from the CME, it will instantly show in Sierra Chart. It does not matter what the symbol is. I suppose my question was not correctly posted - I don't use quote board. No matter when prices are posted to quote board, I want them on my charts and they are not there until next session open. Is that more readily understood? |

The data should be available sometime between 5 PM to 6 PM US Eastern time same day. Follow through the instructions here: Downloading Historical Daily Data: Automatic Download Set the Historical Daily Data Download Time to 5:50 PM US Eastern time or later. And then in your Historical Daily charts set this setting to No: Chart Settings: Allow Real-Time Updating of Historical Chart (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Chart Data menu) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
