Hi I have set up the horizontal line time tool to draw a line at each market and session open. However, the next day the previous day's open line remains on the chart, I am looking for a way to only have the current sessions line visible on the chart, and the previous days to disappear when the next sessions starts. Do you have the Input for "Limit Horizontal Line from Time to 1 Day" set to "Yes"? If so, if you have the previous day line displaying when the new day has started, then select "Edit >> Reload and Recalculate" - the line should be removed. If the above matches what you are seeing, then the issue is that you are keeping your Sierra Chart open all the time, and as such, when new data is added, the older data is not being updated - there is not a full recalculation of the entire chart that would force the previous line that was drawn to be removed. Sorry, the "Horizontal Line at Time" is not setup to do exactly what you want. The best solution is to use the "High/Low for Time Period - Extended" study. Set the following: - Start Time / End Time: The time of the opening bar for the session start such that it encompasses the time of the of the bar (i.e. for a 1 minute chart with the open at 09:30:00 set the "Start Time" to 09:30:00 and the "End Time" to 09:30:59). - Number of Days to Calculate: 1 - Line Stop Time: The time for where you want the line to stop. - Display High/Low Incrementally: No - Input Data High: Open The on the Subgraphs tab set the Draw Style for the subgraph for the Low to be "Ignore".
