Is there back-adjusted cotinuous contract in SC? back testing trading system in 10 years, just use 15 minutes bar. Suppose I develop a trading system based on a 15-minutes bar, just use technical indicators, not use tick data and level2 data. Is there a way to reduce the amount of data downloaded? I find ESH24-CME.scid file is about 2G bytes. |

Yes, refer to the following: Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Continuous Futures Contract Rollover Options Suppose I develop a trading system based on a 15-minutes bar, just use technical indicators, not use tick data and level2 data.
Is there a way to reduce the amount of data downloaded? Refer to the following. You will need to determine a storage time that works for what you want: Data/Trade Service Settings: Intraday Data Storage Time Unit (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Settings) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
