Hi, I have some old charts that I was doing some analysis on. I noticed that if I try to draw something with an anchor prior to May 19, 1927 it will not display on the chart. It will draw things like horizontal lines or price retracements where the anchors are set after that date. But if I try to draw something like a vertical line or start a line on a date prior to May 19, 1927 it will not display on the chart. I have attached a pic of the Manage Drawings window to show this. The first drawing is a vertical line set to May 19, 1927 and it displays on the chart correctly. The second is set prior to May 19 and does not show on the chart. There is no anchor date associated with it. The third drawing is a line started prior to May 19, 1927 with the second anchor on June 27, 1927. This line does display on the chart but it starts at the end date (A2) and extends to the right on the chart. The start point does not have an anchor date just the same as the vertical line. I have tried this on two different data files with the same result. May 19, 1927 is the limit on both. I have never had an issue with this in the past, it seems to have started with a relatively recent update. |

Ok, thank you. I can't speak for others but I have not done any work prior to 1900. However as a student of W.D. Gann I do a lot of research on data in the early 1900's when he was writing about markets.
