On numbers bar calculated values, I noticed delta will sometimes change from negative to positive on close to something else a bar or two later. For example bar closes green, delta negative. Two bars later, that same bar has positive delta. Is this normal? |

Exactly which Range option are you using? We recommend the "Range Bar - True" as the other options have adjustments that occur, although we would not expect it to affect a previous bar like you are seeing. But still, try this and see. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Intraday Chart Bar Period >> Bar Period Type >> Range Per Bar - True (in ticks) Another thing is to ensure that you have your data being stored at every tick. Refer to the following: Data/Trade Service Settings: Intraday Data Storage Time Unit (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Settings) If you do change the Intraday Data Storage Time Unit, then you will want to redownload your data to get all of the data having the same units. Select "Edit >> Delete all Data and Download" to do this. You only need to do this once per symbol, not per chart. That was exactly the problem, recalculating after bar close. I've switched to Range Bar True. Incredible software and support. Thank you! |
