2 CQG Accounts in Sierra

I have a main account and a sub account with AMP. Both are using CQG. I log into AMP / CQG using the credentials from the main account and everything works great. But, how do I access or trade on my sub account? I remember in the past I was able to select the main account OR the sub account from the trade order panel drop down box. ( maybe on was on Denali or Teton at that time??? ). But, now I ONLY see my main account. If I change my log in details in Sierra for CQG to the sub account, then I assume I can ONLY trade on the sub account. Is there a way to have both active in Sierra Chart and select the account for trading using the drop down box on the trade order window? |

If both accounts are accessible from the same CQG login, then both accounts will show in Sierra Chart and you can select the account you are trading for a chart from the Trade Window. Refer to the following: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM) If they are setup as separate logins, then you can not access them both from the same Sierra Chart. In this case, you would just need to install a second Sierra Chart on the same computer (no additional fees when installed on the same computer) and setup that second installation to access the other account. I have the exact setup as you from AMP except I've moved on from CQG to Denali/Teton. You need to run two instances of Sierra Chart. Install them in separate directories. An example C:\sierrachart_1 and C:\sierrachart_2 This way you can trade both simultaneously, one long & one short for example. If you have 2 monitors this would make it much easier to manage as each one can have their own screen. |
