Hi, after 2 pm the CME data (MESH4) starts to lag more and more, from there I can see that the TICK is being updated accurately(real time), and compared to it the CME is getting further and further behind, and it will be real time again after constantly disconnecting/connecting, it's very confusing, to execute a trade so is very difficult... I changed the recommended settings on Sierra Chart Server Settings, the delay decreased somewhat, but it is impossible to trade in the last hour and a half. What do you suggest if I switch from Rithmic Direct to Teton Futures Order Routing, can this error go away? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-04-11 14:05:18

We see you are setup with Rithmic data, which have never been very happy with. We can not say for sure that the issue you are having is related to that data, as it could be Internet or any other number of possibilities. If you want to test to see how our Denali Exchange Data Feed will work, then you can use our Delayed Streaming Data, as it is the exact same data, only delayed by 10-15 minutes, depending on the exchange. To do this, install a second Sierra Chart and leave it set to the default service setting (SC Data - All Services). Open charts for the same instruments in the new installation and you will have the Delayed Streaming Data for those charts. Note that the symbols will be different. See how each instance is working for you as you get late in the day. Although you will not be able to compare the exact bars (since one is delayed data) you should be able to get a feel for whether the issue is the data or something else. Refer to the following for how to install a second Sierra Chart: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time: Step-By-Step Instructions to Install Multiple Copies of Sierra Chart For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

thanks for pointing out the possibility of an internet issue, so I did a test first thing that night and turned off all browsers, only running Sierra on my machine for the last 2 hours, all lags stopped, everything works fine again. Problem solved, thank you

Regarding post #3, you are not using our Denali Data Feed. But Rithmic instead.

The situation improved, but the delays returned for shorter periods of time, I experimented with several things, and finally I changed the server from Chicago data to European data, (I am in Europe) this happened a week ago, since then my problem has disappeared, thanks for the help
