Is there a way to exclude a day from all charts (i.e. Chart Settings>Chart Data>Set Dates To Exclude) in a chartbook with Linking option? In other words, instead of doing the same action in all charts in the same chartbook, do this action in one chart and all other charts update accordingly.
Thanks

Yes, there is Global Settings >> Symbol Settings >> Set dates to exclude. However, mine is not working, even after saving closing reopening the chartbook, reloading and recalculating, and restarting sierra completely.

When i apply the same action via each chart, it reload and reclaculates the chart with the date excluded however.

Hopefully John/Engineering team can let us know what im doing incorrect

There is not an option for "Dates to Exclude" through the Linking options.

As to what cesium stated, this could work, but you have to keep in mind that when you make a change to the symbol settings, those changes to not directly affect the charts that are already open. Any new chart for that symbol, will have those settings applied, so a new chart (or a chart that has had the symbol changed) will have the dates excluded.

There is the button for "Apply Global Symbol Settings" that can be used to bring in the settings for the chart. But again, you have to go chart by chart and apply this (it may be a bit faster than editing the dates to exclude for each chart):
Chart Settings: Apply Global Symbol Settings (Button) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Global Symbol Settings menu)

There should simply be an option for charts: "Apply excluded dates in global settings" that we could toggle on and off. For some charts, I never want to exclude a date, but for others, I do. The current method of adding a date for each chart is cumbersome, and the global setting helps alleviate this, but it is then applicable to all charts and so is not flexible.

At the very least, the manual one-at-a-time entry for charts should be changed so that we can use a comma separated list there, so that we can take a predefined list and simply paste it in each chart.

The Dates to Exclude setting is now a single text string entry in Chart Settings. This is in the latest version.
