detached window layout is not restored properly when opening the chartbook

I've a detached windows (4) layout on a 2nd monitor. The layout is not restored correctly when re-opening the chartbook. Is it something not supported or I'm missing some settings? TY! |

Ok. Sounds like there is no solution. Its not an issue with Ninja Trader by the way. I'm transitioning from NT to SC and was trying to have similar layout.

We would think there would have to be a solution but we are not sure what it is. These windows are not being repositioned by Sierra Chart. Maybe if we delay adjust the window back to its saved position after giving the operating system a chance to put it wherever it wants, that would help. We will look into this. TY! if TitleBar is enabled, then it seems to get location correct but not the size for some charts. But location & size are wrong if titlebar is disabled. |

We will try to determine a solution to this long-standing issue. If we add an option to delay reposition the window, that may work. Seems hard to believe it would not. The only thing is users are going to notice the window in one position then moved to another position when it is opened. I tried build #2600 Rev#49213. Same as before. It gets location correct if Titlebar is enabled but not the size of the windows. Otherwise, both locations and sizes are wrong.

Ok we will work on delayed window placement restoration. We will see if that helps. It may look odd with being you will see the windows reposition themselves after they are already visible.
