Since the last three updates on Sierra Chart, I have been unable to move my target lines when trades are ongoing on the E-mini S&P 500. How can this be changed?

We are not seeing any issues with modifying the Attached Orders on a chart. How exactly are you trying to move the Target and is this on a Chart or a Trading DOM? Also, look in your "Trade Service Log" after you try to move the target and it does not move and see if there is anything in that log that shows that there was a rejection for your change. What do you mean by "I am not able to select the target line"? If you left click on it, and try to drag it nothing occurs? Or does something odd happen when you try to click on it? Make sure you are not selecting on the Quantity or the X when you are trying to grab it. When I try to drag the target line, it does not move at all, nothing occurs. This has been an issue for the past week now and the software updates have also had no impact.

Do you have this problem in Simulation Mode? If so, then try to move a target and if it does not move, then look in your "Windows >> Message Log" and see if there is any information in there about what may be occurring. Also, is the Parent order filled already or is this a situation where the the working orders are still pending waiting on the parent to fill? Yes, the same issue occurs on simulation mode. Furthermore, when trying to drag the target lines, no message appears on the message log. Placing trades work so all orders are filled, there are no pending trades. |
