Maintain same color for TPO periods when merging profiles

If I have two profiles which use letters A - M (13 periods) and merge them, the first A in the merged profile will use color 1, and the second A will use color 14. Is it possible for both A's to use color 1? I know I can define color 14 to be the same as 1, but this becomes an issue as there are only 18 colors definable in the settings.

The only way to have this work would be to define only 18 letters for your Letter Sequence. Then each letter will use the same color.
