Hi Sierra chart support team,

I figured it out by accident while setting up my graphs today that crashes the software (not responding state after 2-3 seconds) when choose this option on VWAP study and press Apply button:

1.)Chose Volume Weighted Average Price >> Subgraphs >> VWAP (SG1) >> Draw Style >> Circle Hollow Variable Size ;
2.)Press Apply button;
3.)Wait ~2-5 seconds.

I should be on the latest version if that matters 2596 rev. 49105.
Chart is ESH24-CME on SIM, and chart need to be outside regular trading hours (ETH). If the data is not visualized on chart (if is blank), it does not crash... (Time Now EST 8:43 am).
I haven't tried on other symbol but I have tried on different charts on the same symbol with same result...

Regards

Sierra Engineering,

I created a new chartbook with 2598. ESH24, defaults.
Added Volume Weighted Average Price >> Subgraphs >> VWAP (SG1) >> Draw Style >> Circle Hollow Variable Size
Event log seems full with 2 messages for every bar

2024-02-06 14:33:05.500 | ESH24_FUT_CME[M] 5 Min #1 | Reloading chart.
2024-02-06 14:33:05.704 | OpenGL: Draw too many objects at once *
2024-02-06 14:33:05.993 | OpenGL: Draw too many objects at once *

Changing draw style to dash does not have the event log messages.

No crash (has VS debugger attached)

Ok thank you. Circle Hollow Variable Size really cannot be used, outside of an ACSIL function but we have added a safety check to safeguard against an abnormally large size when using this Draw Style.
